My name is JJ and I am a certified sommelier from Australia and Sky Sommelier for airlines that I work for. I specialize in wines from New World such as Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Champagne.
My wine journey has been about 20 years of working, studying, learning about wines and tasting wines. I first started as an intern in a vineyard in Saint Emilon, Bordeaux in 1999.
I am very interested in French, Italian, South American wines as well. I interned and worked in a restaurants in Paris & Hong Kong cooking and worked with French, Chinese, Italian, Singaporean Mexican, Thai & contemporary haute cuisine. I love matching dishes; food - wine pairing using wines, all champagnes or even dessert wines.
I have been facilitating wine training & wine tasting for cabin crew, waiters, bartenders in restaurants and airlines, helping restaurants improve on their food menu and wine offering.
